We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Neonatal Care Specialist with a strong nursing background to provide exceptional care for a newborn. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting the development of infants and assisting families in establishing healthy routines.
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide comprehensive care for a newborn boy, ensuring their health and well-being.
- Assist parents in developing daily routines that promote the infant’s growth and comfort.
- Implement and guide sleep training techniques to help infants establish healthy sleep patterns.
- Monitor late afternoon feeding habits and assist in managing cluster feeding for optimal nourishment.
- Maintain accurate records of infant feeding and growth, including tracking and reporting weight gain and feeding frequency.
- Collaborate with families to create personalized care plans and address any concerns they may have regarding their newborn’s health.
- May develop into more days and overnight in the future
**Qualifications:**
- Maternity nurse training
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent nursing credential prefered
- Experience working with newborns
- Police check, Working with children check
